Jeanne Hollingshead, LCSW

 

With over 20 years of experience in mental health, foster care, and adoption, Jeanne Hollingshead has supported children, adults, and families navigating diverse challenges such as divorce, grief, ADHD, depression, anxiety, and the complexities of foster care and adoption. Her compassionate approach and deep understanding of trauma-informed care enable her to provide tailored support to each family's unique situation.

Jeanne integrates the Circle of Security and Nonviolent Resistance to foster secure attachment and empower parents to respond to challenging behaviors with calm authority, strengthening parent-child relationships.  Jeanne works with at-risk adoptive families who face the long-term effects of trauma and separation from birth families.  In 2023, she completed a 30-hour adoption-competent mental health training through the Center for Adoption Support and Education, equipping her to offer pre- and post-adoptive consultation to families and caseworkers.  Jeanne also supervises individuals pursuing their Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) credential, supporting the next generation of clinicians.

Jeanne earned her Master of Social Work from Barry University in Miami, Florida, and a Bachelor of Arts from Flagler College in St. Augustine, Florida. Jeanne has been a Licensed Clinical Social Worker since 2001.
