Mary Beth Murray, LCSW
Ms. Murray is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 15 years of experience working with children, adolescents, parents and families. She specializes in the use of play therapy, expressive therapy, family therapy, filial therapy and parent consultations for children and teens aged 3 - 18. Ms. Murray has many years’ experience working with children and families who have experienced trauma, attachment difficulties, losses, divorce and other stressful life changes. She works with children with a wide variety of behavioral needs, including school problems, oppositional behavior, depression, anxiety and ADHD. Ms. Murray works closely with parents throughout the therapy process and enjoys partnering with parents to provide treatment for their child that is fun and effective.
Ms. Murray has extensive experience with the child welfare, educational, juvenile justice and mental health systems. She coordinates with professionals and supports caregivers in navigating these systems so that the child can be successful. Ms. Murray also provides clinical supervision to social workers interested in family therapy, play therapy, attachment theory, trauma-focused therapy and self-care.
